Sharon Lou (henry) Fronheiser

  Mrs. Sharon Lou Fronheiser, 72, of Lehighton passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 20, 2017, at her home. She was born October 18, 1944 in Lehighton, the daughter of the late Alfred M. & Margie M. (Mertz) Henry. She was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Richard P. Fronheiser in November 2015. Sharon graduated from Lehighton Area High School in 1962 and worked for many years as a garment worker at Barson/Barsew in Lehighton as well as other local mills. In retirement, Sharon worked as a crossing guard as well as an election poll worker. Survivors include her son Rich Fronheiser & his wife Michele of Columbus, Wisconsin, her sister, Shirley, wife of Harry Leibensperger of Mountainhome, her granddaughter Casey, of Columbus Wisconsin, a brother in law, Bruce Fronheiser Sr. & his wife Pat of Lehighton, as well as a special nephew and niece Bruce & Mary Fronheiser of Lehighton, and a dear friend, Sandra Ahner of Franklin Township. A Celebration Of Life Service will be held on Thursday April 27th at 11 a.m. at The Ovsak FH, 190 S. 4th St., Lehighton with the Rev. Jody Neifert officiating.
