Mr. James D. Raymer

James D. Raymer, 62, of 10 Pleasant View Drive, Mahoning Township, passed away Wednesday July 8th at his residence. He was the husband of Terry M. Ammann Raymer. They were married for 1 year, last December 12th 2014. Born in Scarborough, Ontario Canada, he was a son of  Denton Raymer of Ontario Canada,  &  the late Joyce Brigdon Raymer.  An avid equine enthusiast, he was currently a self employed horse trainer and held a membership in the HHA ( Harness Horseman’s Association). In his spare time, he enjoyed a round of Golf and spending time with his friends & family. Surviving in addition to his wife & father is a daughter, Amy, wife of Trevor Williams of Ontario, Canada, a son, Tyler Raymer & his wife Leigh of Delaware, 2 step-sons, A.J. Fort of Lehighton, Christopher Fort & his fiancée Britt of Virginia, a sister, Brenda, wife of Graham Allen, of California, 3 brothers, Ken Raymer & his wife Jane, Ron Raymer & his wife Karen, Rick Raymer & his wife Nicky of Ontario, Canada, & 3 grandchildren. A Celebration of Life Service in his honor will be held on Thursday, July 16th at 12 noon at The Mahoning Valley Country Club, 323 Country Club Road, Lehighton with Ken Raymer officiating. The Interment will be private.
