William O. Freundt
1958 - 2024
William O. Freundt, 65, of Leighton, entered into eternal rest Thursday March 28, 2024 in St. Luke’s Hospice House, Bethlehem. Born in Palmerton, he was the son of Elsie F. (Strauss) Freundt of Lehighton and the late Walter K. Freundt. He was employed as an Auto Body Estimator for Wentz Auto Body in Lehighton for 40 years until his retirement in February. He was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Lehighton. He was also a member of the Lehighton Fire Company, Orioles, Beaver Run Rod and Gun Club, Bowmanstown Fire Company and the International Order of Turtles. Bill loved the outdoors which involves RC planes, model rockets, hiking, biking, kayaking and family picnics.
Surviving along with his mother are sons Joey and his wife Rebecca of Reading and William II and his wife Anna of Lehighton; sisters Ruth wife of Brian Deebel and Mary wife of Todd Burkett both of Lehighton; brothers Walter Jr. and John husband of Cheryl both of Lehighton; a granddaughter Lily; and several nieces and nephew.
