Sarah E. Nothstein Thompson, 30, of East Penn Township, passed into eternal rest on Friday, February 7th, 2025 in Schuylkill County. Born in Lehighton, Pa. on Sunday, June 12, 1994, she was the daughter of Brain E. Nothstein of East Penn Township, and the late Janice L. (Ryman) Nothstein who passed away on April 5th of Last year. Sarah was a graduate of Lehighton Area High School and earned an Associates Degree for Lehigh County Community College. She was currently working for Good Shepherd Rehabilitation as the Central Supply Coordinator at the Center Valley Complex. She was a very active member of Blue Mountain Community Church, Palmerton, where she volunteered her time with the Praise Band, Drama Group, & other church activities. She was a former member of the local 4-H clubs, raising sheep & goats. Surviving in addition to her father is a paternal grandmother, Betty Nothstein, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, & her church family. She was predeceased by an infant brother, Andrew E. Nothstein. Funeral Services will be held on at 11 a.m. Friday, February 14, 2025 at Blue Mtn. Community Church, 25 Oak St. Palmerton with the Rev. Jen Eckhart & Rev. Cliff Eckhart officiating. Call 9:30-11 a.m. in the church. Interment in Ben Salem Cemetery, East Penn Township, Pa. Memorial Contributions in her honor may be made to Blue Mtn.
