Roy Miller Jr.

Mr. Roy Miller Jr., 86, of Union Hill, Pa. passed into eternal rest on Wed. Oct. 20th at the Mahoning Valley Nursing & Rehab. Ctr. He was the husband of the late Shirley M. (Moser) Miller who passed away May 19, 2019. Born in Tamaqua, Pa. on Friday Sept. 13, 1935, he was  the son of the late Roy &  Frances (Heitz) Miller Sr. He served our country with the US Military Forces. Prior to his retirement, he was employed as a rendering plant employee in Elroy Pa. and later worked at Moyer Meat Packaging in Souderton, Pa. He was of the Christian faith. Roy enjoyed participating in the Lehighton Senior Games and Bowling. Surviving is a daughter, Michelle M., wife of Ronald Ketchledge of Long Run, 2 sons, Roy J. Miller of Quakertown, Steven J. Miller & his wife Tara of Florida, a sister, Nancy Persons, of Palmerton, 5 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, nieces & nephews.
