Mr. Robert P. Radler, 79, of Lehighton, passed into eternal rest on Friday, October 18th at his residence. He was the companion of Joann C. (Schoenberger) Begel. Born in Coaldale on Saturday, Jan. 13, 1945, he was a son of the late James & Katherine (Swolensky) Radler. Prior to his retirement, he was employed as a heavy equipment operator at the NJ Zinc/Horsehead Industries, Palmerton, with 52 years of service. He attended church services at All Saints Episcopal Church, Lehighton. Bob was a Life member of Lehigh Fire Co. #1, The Beaver Run Rod & Gun Club, & The Lehighton Orioles Nest #183, & held a social membership at The Lehighton American Legion Post 314. He enjoyed playing Darts, Fishing, Softball, and loved dogs. Surviving in addition to his companion are 2 sons, Chad O. Radler (Stephanie) of Walnutport, Jared W. Radler (Emily) of Wescosville, a sister, Barbara Moyer of Lehighton, & 4 grandchildren, He was predeceased by 3 brothers, David, James Jr. & Richard Radler. Funeral Services will be held on Wed. Oct. 23, at 11 a.m. at The Ovsak FH, 190 S. 4th St., Lehighton with Deacon Charles Barebo officiating. Call 9-11 a.m. at the funeral home, Interment in The Lehighton Cemetery.
