Perline Getz

Perline Getz, 84, of Towamensing Twp., entered into eternal rest Monday, November 3, 2025 in her residence. She was the wife of the late Navy retire of 32 years, MMCM Randolph E. Getz Sr. who passed away March 17, 2019. Born in Wanchese, North Carolina, she was a daughter of the late John H. and Cathrine A. (Payne) Reber. She was a housewife. She also worked as a seamstress for several clothing factories and worked at the Convenient Food Mart, Palmerton. She enjoyed making ceramics, sewing and was an avid crocheter. She also enjoyed traveling in her RV attending Blue Grass concerts but especially loved her trip back home to see family in North Carolina.

Surviving are daughters Elizabeth Goworowski, Patricia Dempsey, Armitta Thomas all of Palmerton, and Cynthia Hancharick and her husband Patrick of Weatherly; a son Randolph Getz Jr. of Lehighton; a sister Cathy McPhee and her husband Randy of N.C.; brothers Crawford Reber and his wife Vicki and Louie Reber both of N.C.; 7 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by sisters Gwen Quidley, Jean English, and Ann Mason, brothers Sonny and Braddy and son-in-laws Konrad Goworowski and David Thomas.

A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, November 7, 2025 at the Lehighton Cemetery with LLM Emma Weaver officiating. Online condolence at www.ovsakfh.com
