Mrs. Vera L. Frantz, 92, of Lehighton, passed away Saturday, April 28th at Pleasant Trees Personal Care Home, Ashfield, Pa. She was the wife of the late Dr. Robert R. Frantz MD, who passed away Saturday, November 24th, 2001. Born in Dough, Antrim, Northern Ireland, Friday, April 23rd, 1926, she was a daughter of the late James & Anna Edith (McClure) Webster. Vera was a housewife/homemaker supporting her family’s endeavors. She was a member of Ben Salem United Church of Christ, East Penn Township and was a former member of The Gnaden Huetten Chapter #203 Order of The Eastern Star. Surviving are 2 sons, Ronald R. Frantz & his wife Diane of Easton, Pa., Eric W. Frantz & his wife Wendy of East Penn Township, 6 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, a niece & a nephew. She was predeceased by an infant sister, Audrey Webster & also another sister, Joan Saunders.A Memorial Service in her honor will be held on Saturday May 5th at 11 a.m. at Ben Salem UCC, 1965 Church Hill Road, Lehighton with the Reverend Michael J. McGowan officiating. The interment will follow the services in Dinkey Memorial Cemetery, Dinkey Road, Ashfield, Pa. Memorial Contributions in her honor may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
