Mrs. Teresa L. (Sander) Walck

Mrs. Teresa L. Walck, 92, of Bowmanstown/Lehighton passed into eternal rest on Tues. Dec. 31st in Nazareth Pa. She was the wife of the late Carl K. Walck who passed away April 22, 2004. Born in Bowmanstown on Sept. 15, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Frank A. & Elsie M. (Henning) Sander. Prior to her retirement, she was employed as a sewing machine operator for Barson & Bishop, Scotty's Fashions, West Bow Mills, & Blue Ridge Sportswear. Teresa was a devout member of SS Peter & Paul RC Church, Lehighton where she was a member of the Altar & Rosary Society. She was a member of the former Big Creek Flower Club, and formerly volunteered her time running BINGO at the Mahoning Valley Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. She and her husband were well known for raising tropical fish at their residence many years ago. Surviving is a daughter, Beverly J. Everett (Steven) of Franklin Township,2 sons, Carl F. Walck (Robin), Douglas C. Walck of Bowmanstown, 11 grandchildren, & 13 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son Michael C. Walck on Dec. 17th 2024, and was predeceased by 2 infant siblings. A Mass of Christian Burial in her honor will be held on Wed. Jan.8th, 2025 at 11 a.m. at SS Peter & Paul RC Church, 260 N. 3rd St., Lehighton with the Rev. Christopher M. Zelonis & Deacon Joseph C. Wilhelm officiating. Call 10-11 a.m.in the church. Interment in the parish cemetery. Memorial Contributions in her honor can be made to the church at 18235.
