Mrs. Susan E. (Frey) Nothstein

Mrs. Susan E. Nothstein,  84, of Mahoning Township, Pa. passed into eternal rest on Tues. April 25th at her residence. She was the wife of the late Edward E. Nothstein who passed away April 25, 2009. Born in Coaldale Pa. on Thursday, Jan. 6, 1939, she was a daughter of the late Salem & Susan (Labenburg) Frey. Prior to her retirement, she was employed at Techna-Plastics Mahoning Valley in the production department and formerly worked in the same capacity for Wos-Wit formerly of Mahoning Valley. She was a member of St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Mahoning Valley and in her spare time enjoyed BINGO,& watching Pro-Wrestling. She enjoyed her time with her caring family and was an avid animal lover. Surviving are 3 daughters, Julie A., wife of Greg Willet , Lynn M., wife of David Koch of East Penn Township, Brenda L. Lasky of Summit Hill, 2 sisters, Mary Kohler of Summit Hill, Sarah Oldt of Mahoning Valley, 2 brothers, William Frey of Florida, Harold Frey & his wife Brenda of Mahoning Valley, 7 grandchildren, Jessie, Mallory, Lauren, Jonathan, Matthew, Heather, Adam, 3 Great-grandchildren, Penny, Haley, Payton, nieces & nephews. She was predeceased by a daughter, Tammy and a brother Jacob. Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Sat. April 29th at the Ovsak Funeral Home, 190 S. 4th St., Lehighton with Rev. Anthony P. Pagotto officiating. Call 9:30-11 a.m. Interment in St. John’s Cemetery, Mahoning Valley.
