Mrs. Sheila Anne Gorham Simmons, 58, of East Penn Township, Pa., passed into eternal rest on Friday, Dec. 27th at her residence. She was the wife of Paul F. Simmons. They were married for 13 years on June 3rd, 2024. Born in Bronxville, NY on March 13, 1966, she was a daughter of Eileen M. (Scanlon) Gorham of NY and the late John J. Gorham Sr. Sheila attended Mass at St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church in Yonkers NY, and being an avid feline & animal lover, formerly volunteered her time at the Yonkers Animal Shelter. She loved Charles Schultz's "Peanuts" caricatures. Surviving in addition to her husband are 3 daughters, Carissa Myers (Danny) of Lehighton, Kara Moser (Curtis) of Orwigsburg, Shanna Pervola (Jarret) of Ohio, 2 sons, Ryan Simmons (Margie) of Andreas, Nicholas Simmons of Massachusetts, a sister, Eileen M. Ray (David) of Yonkers, NY, 10 grandchildren,1 niece, 3 nephews, 1 great niece. She was predeceased by a brother John J. Gorham Jr. A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial in NY in her honor will be announced in the future.
