Mrs. Shari A. (Snyder) Wentz

Mrs. Shari A. Wentz, 67, of Franklin Township passed into eternal rest on Wed. Sept. 16th at The Lehigh Valley Hospital Inpatient Hospice Unit, Allentown, Pa. She was the wife of Curtis A. Wentz Jr. They were married for 51 years on Jan. 25th of this year. Born in Northampton, Pa. on Sunday, July 26, 1953, she was a daughter of the late Charles & Dorothy (Andrews) Snyder. Prior to her retirement, she was employed by the US Postal Service as a mail carrier. A very loving wife, mother, nanny , & friend, she was a great help to many in her life. She enjoyed her “Bunco Group”, crafts, reading and painting/creating artistic projects. Surviving in addition to her husband are 2 daughters, Kimberly, wife of Ben Houser III, of Mahoning Valley, Nicole Wentz-Olm and her wife Sandra Olm of Bethlehem, 2 sisters, Lynnette Snyder of Lehighton, Tanya, wife of Dean Beers of Saylorsburg, a brother, Blaze Snyder of Lehighton, 3 grandchildren, Ryder-Olm-Wentz, Ava Houser, Ben Houser IV, nieces & nephews. She was predeceased by a daughter, Tracy Lee Wentz, & 2 brothers, Dane & Charles Snyder. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, September 21st at 10 a.m. at The Ovsak FH, 190 S. 4th St., Lehighton. Call 8-10 a.m. at the funeral home. The interment will be private at the convenience of the family. COVID 19 regulations are in place. Masks are mandatory.
