Mrs. Sandra L. (Engle) Kuntz

Mrs. Sandra L. Kuntz, 79, of Bowmanstown, Pa. passed into eternal rest on Friday, Dec. 4th at her residence. She was the wife of Bruce L. Kuntz. They were married for 61 years on Nov. 28th of this year. Born in Palmerton, Pa. on Wednesday, April 2nd, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Norman & Lillian (Folk) Engle. Sandra was a graduate of The Empire School of Cosmetology and worked as a hairstylist and previously worked for the former Tri-County Bank. She was a member of St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church Of Towamensing, Palmerton. Sandra was a loving  wife, mother, grandmother. She loved sewing, baking, crafts, macrame, and enjoyed playing a good hand of Hollywood Rummy with family & friends. She loved watching & feeding Hummingbirds. Surviving in addition to her husband are 3 sons, Kevin Kuntz of Bowmanstown, Kent Kuntz of Wyalusing, Pa., Kyle Kuntz of Waxhaw, N. Carolina, 4 brothers, Norman Engle Jr. & his wife Kathy, Ronald Engle, Larry Engle & his wife Sandra, Terry Engle & his wife Sharlene of Bowmanstown, 3 grandchildren, nieces & nephews. She was predeceased by 3 brothers, Nelson, Wayne, & Infant Sonny Engle. Funeral Services will be held on Wed. Dec. 9th at 11 a.m. at St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church Of Towamensing, 2915 Fireline Rd., Palmerton, Pa. with the Reverend Jody Neifert officiating. Call Wed. from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. in the church. Private Interment. COVID19 restrictions in place. Please wear a face mask. Memorial Contributions in her honor may be made to the church at 18071.
