Mrs. Ruth M. (Green) Anthony

Mrs. Ruth M. Anthony, 56, of Bowmanstown, Pa. passed into eternal rest on Sat. Dec. 6th at the Lehigh Valley Hospital Inpatient Hospice Unit, 17th & Chew St. Allentown, Pa. She was the widow of Richard H. Anthony Jr. who passed away in 2016. Born in Palmerton, Pa., 7/19/1969, she was a daughter of Darlene (Schleicher) Hedrick of Ashfield & the late Adam Green. She was a 1987 graduate of the Lehighton Area High School. Ruth was most recently employed in home health care as a medical assistant. She attended church services at Dinkey Memorial Evangelical Lutheran Church, Ashfield, and was a very active gardener, landscaper and enjoyed growning Dahlias. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandson, Bentley Anthony. Surviving in addition to her mother is a son Jacob R. Anthony of Bowmanstown, 3 sisters, Joanne Dowd & husband Michael Gazo of Albrightsville, Sarah Trimble (Larry) of Ashfield, Rachael Bauer of Palmerton, a brother, Joseph Green of Lehighton, a grandson Bentley, nieces & nephews.
