Brother Richard F. "Dick" Hough, 81, of Jim Thorpe, formerly of Walnutport, was called off from labor on Monday Oct. 23rd at Genesis Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Bethlehem, Pa., He was the husband of Barbara A. (Cressley) Smith Hough. They were married for 1 year this past Aug. 20th. His first wife, Grace A. (Husack) Hough died March 27, 2018. Born in the Fireline area of Palmerton, he was a son of the late Edward W. & Ella (Strohl) Hough. He served our country with the US Army/Army Reserves in the Military Police. Prior to retirement, he was a Glazier and was the owner/operator of Tri-County Glass Co. Dick was a member of Christ Lutheran Church, Penn Forest Township. He held a membership in Slatington F&AM Lodge 440 Slatington, Pa. He was an outstanding antique/classic automobile enthusiast/restorer and held a Life membership of The Antique Automobile Club of America where he was a 5 time National Champion Recipient and served as an AACA Judge. He was also a 2 time Champion with the National Corvette Club. Locally he was a member of the Jukebox Cruisers. Surviving in addition to his loving wife Barb are 2 sisters, Kathy Horner & her companion Rich of Slatington, Carol Fairchild (Kenny) of Whitehall, a brother, John Hough & his wife Diane of New Tripoli, many nieces & nephews. He was predeceased by brothers, Willis "Bill", George & Edward Hough. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, Oct. 27th at 11 a.m. at Christ Lutheran Church 189 Church Road, Penn Forest Township with the Reverend John P. Hassler officiating. Call 9:30-11 a.m. Friday.
