Mrs. Rhonda L. Rehrig

Mrs. Rhonda L. Rehrig, 59, of East Penn Township passed into eternal rest on Monday, March 17, 2025. She was the fiance of Tim Hauser of Lehighton and the  widow of the late James G. Rehrig who passed away June 18, 2007. Born in Lehighton on March 1, 1966, she was the daughter of Sandra R. (Heiser) Mertz Marenchick of Lehighton and the late Donald W. Mertz who passed away Sept. 7, 2008.. Rhonda was currently employed in retail sales for Petco in the animal care industry and previously worked for 20 years for Laneco Lehighton, and also worked in the travel industry as a travel agent. She attended church services at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Mahoning Valley. She held a membership at Beaver Run Rod & Gun Club and was a member of SOAR (Starting Over Animal Rescue). In her spare time she enjoyed the Casino's, the beach trips and just traveling in general. Surviving in addition to her mother and fiance is a step-sister, Monica, a step-nephew Liam, a close cousin Jeri Vanage and many close family members & friends.
