Mrs. Mary E. Grob, 93, of Bethlehem Pa. passed away Friday, April 20th at Holy Family Manor, Bethlehem, Pa. She was the wife of the late Daniel J. Grob Sr. who passed away June 13, 2001. Born in Bowmanstown, she was a daughter of the late Adam & Anna L. (Sander) Wilhelm. Prior to her retirement, she was employed as a sewing machine operator for Highland Fashions in Allentown, Pa. She and her late husband were members of SS Simon & Jude Catholic Church, Bethlehem, Pa. Mary volunteered her time as a den mother for 10 years for Cub Scout Pack 315, Bethlehem , Pa. In her spare time, Mary could be found gardening and raising her tomato plants, cooking, sewing, and doing arts & crafts. She enjoyed taking care of her grandchildren. Surviving are 4 sons, Daniel J. Grob Jr. & his wife Laura of Sammamish, Washington State, Conrad A. Grob of Bethlehem, Edward J. Grob of Allentown, Patrick J. Grob & his wife Marytherese of Hamburg, Pa. 3 grandchildren, Cassandra, Kristina, Ashley, 3 great-grandchildren, Kaylani, Carter, Damien, nieces & nephews. She was predeceased by a daughter, Sara Ann Grob, 2 sisters, Anna Antry, Magdaline Wilhelm, and a brother, Joseph C. Wilhelm Sr. Prayers will be held on Thursday, April 26th at 9:30 a.m. at The Ovsak FH, 190 S. 4th St., Lehighton followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at SS Peter & Paul Roman Catholic Church 242 N. 3rd St., Lehighton with the Reverend Michael E. Ahrensfield & Deacon Joseph C. Wilhelm Jr. officiating. Call 8-9:30 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Interment in the parish cemetery, N. 4th St., Lehighton.
