Mrs. Marian Kulp Obituary

Marian Grace Kulp, 94, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister passed away peacefully on March 18, 2023, at Seton Manor, Orwigsburg, PA.  She was the widow of Robert Franklin Kulp, Sr., who passed away on October 6, 1963.
Born September 22, 1928, and raised in Germansville, PA, she was the eldest of eight children to the late Charles O. and Mabel E. (Krause) Metzger.  She was a 1947 graduate of Slatington High School.
Marian was a long-time resident of Lehighton, PA where she raised her family and worked at Barson and Company for many years until 1982.  For the next 20 years she lived with her daughter Joanne, who was serving in the U.S. Army, and lived in and traveled to numerous states and countries.  Returning to New Tripoli, PA in 2003, she resided there until she became a resident of Seton Manor.
Marian enjoyed crocheting, bingo and corresponding with family and friends.
Marian is survived by her three children, Barbara E., and her husband Gary L. Minnich, of Auburn, PA, Robert F. Kulp, Jr., and his wife Ann L. (Wanamaker) of Lehighton, PA and Joanne L., and her husband John J. Daugirda of Andreas, PA.; grandchildren Beverly E. Farley, Jamie L. Minnich and his wife Melissa, Robert F. Kulp III and his wife Lisa, Michael C. Kulp, Jason J. Daugirda and his wife Anika and Ryan M. Daugirda; and greatgrandchildren Bryan Nova, Hilario Zarza; Lina, Hazel, and Wesley Minnich; Ethan Kulp; and Mara and Melissa Daugirda.  Siblings Eleanor L. Lakatosh, of Slatington, PA., Marlin L. Metzger, Richard C. Metzger, both of New Tripoli, PA., Louise M., wife of Paul G. Helfrich, of Allentown, PA., and Patricia L., wife of William D. Leiby of Andreas, PA.
She was also preceded in death by a grandchild, Gary Minnich, Jr., a brother, Franklin G. Metzger and a sister, Marie M. Bachman.
Service:  A private family service
Burial: Union Hill Cemetery, Lehighton, PA
The Ovsak Funeral Home, Lehighton, is in charge of arrangements.
