Mrs. Marguerite E. (McGuire) Hoffman

Mrs. Marguerite E. Hoffman, 91, of Lehighton, passed into eternal rest on Friday July 14th at The Summit Nursing & Rehab. Ctr., Lehighton. She was the widow of the late Jacob "Jack" Hoffman who passed away Jan. 12, 2021. Born in Jim Thorpe, Pa. on Dec. 3, 1931, she was a daughter of the late Charles & Martha (O'Donnell) McGuire. Prior to her retirement she was employed in the garment industry working in local mills such as Barson & Bishop with 40 years of service. She was of the Catholic Faith. Surviving are daughters, Joanne McGuire of Palmerton, Sharon Hoffman of Lehighton, sons, Marty Hoffman, Ronald Hoffman of Lehighton, sisters, Mary Frutchey of Pen Argyl, Rose Grezik of Summit Hill, Kathy Henning of Lehighton, a sister in law Sandy Fritz of Lehighton, 5 grandchildren,  nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by a son Charles McGuire and a granddaughter, Melissa. Funeral Services and interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
