Mrs. Margaret Mary (Reilly) Solt

Mrs. Margaret Mary Solt, 78, of Lehighton Pa. passed into eternal rest on Sunday, May 1st at the Hospice House of The VNA, Bethlehem, Pa. She was the wife of Lynn J. Solt of Lehighton. They were married for 54 years last Aug. 19th, 2021. Born In Elizabeth New Jersey on Monday, October 4, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Cornelius P. & Margaret Mary (Payton) Reilly. Prior to her retirement, she was employed as a Bank Teller for the Hazleton National Bank and previously worked as a bookkeeper in other business entities. Mrs. Solt was a member of SS Peter & Paul Roman Catholic Church, and the Red Hat Society of Lehighton. She enjoyed her family, crafts, decorating, trips to Wind Creek Casino, traveling, & especially vacationing in Aruba. Surviving in addition to her husband Lynn are 2 daughters, Christine, wife of Michael Campellone of Philadelphia, Pa., Kelly, wife of Bob Hassler of Hartland, Wisconsin, a son, Todd Solt & his wife Julie of Lehighton, & 9 grandchildren. A Memorial Mass Of Christian Burial in her honor will be held on Saturday, June 11th at 10 a.m. in SS Peter & Paul Roman Catholic Church, 260 North 3rd St., Lehighton with Rev. Christopher M. Zelonis & Deacon Joseph C. Wilhelm Jr. officiating followed by interment in the parish cemetery. Call 9-10 a.m. Saturday in the church.
