Mrs.Madelyn Kush, 80 of Slatington, Pa. passed into eternal rest on Wed. May 13th at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg campus. She was the wife of the late Alan M. Kush who passed away April 11, 2000. Born in Nanticoke, Luzerne County, on April 11, 1946, she was a daughter of the late Anthony & Helen (Krasulski) Wall. Madelyn held a BA degree and and an MBA degree from Bloomsburg University. Prior to her retirement , she was employed as a teacher by the Lehighton Area School District in the Business Curriculum Department. She was a member of the Assumption Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, Slatington, Pa. and also held a membership with the Slatington Rotary Club. Surviving is a niece Lori Roke of Slatington. She was predeceased by a sister, Barbara Roke. Services and interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
