Mrs. Lorene LaRose Obituary

(Picture)

Mrs. Lorene Elizabeth LaRose passed away on June 3 at the Lehigh Valley Hospital Carbon Campus.

Lorene was born in Lehighton, Pennsylvania, to the late David S. and Marian E. (Schrader) Roberts. She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Loren G. LaRose of Palmerton, formerly of Lehighton.  She was a member of the graduating class of 1972 of Lehighton Area High School.

They are the very proud parents of three adult children.  However, Lorene found the greatest pleasure and had the most fun in life in her role as “Chia” to her six beautiful grandchildren.  She is also survived by her beloved daughter Megan E., the wife of Joseph S. Heal, of Linwood, New Jersey, who are the parents of Rian Elizabeth and John Davis.

Lorene is also survived by her wonderful daughter Jacqueline D. Grimley of Pottstown, Pennsylvania, who is the mother of Coraline and Caleb Grimley.

Along with her daughters, Lorene is survived by a loving and well-loved son, Kirk L. LaRose. He and his partner Kara Matsco are the parents of Evan and Austin and reside in Downingtown, Pennsylvania.

Other survivors include her brother Layne D. Roberts (Fiancee Kate McEvilly) of Lehighton and a sister Lynette A. (David. Sr.) Becattini of Lansdale, Pennsylvania. Lorene was predeceased by her brother Larry who passed in 1997.

Lorene was very fond of her nieces & nephews and was very appreciative of their concern and support. She was also grateful for the loving support of her cousin Connie Cuellar. Lorene had a steadfast faith in God and was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Palmerton. All funeral arrangements are private and at the convenience of the family. Lorene has humbly requested that donations in her memory be made to the Palmerton Area Library.
