Mrs. Lois Jane Chamberlain Littley Bernstein, 84, of Lehighton,Pa., formerly of Montoursville & Williamsport, Pa. passed into eternal rest on Thursday, January 23rd at St. Luke’s Hospital, Hamilton St., Allentown, Pa. She was the wife of the late William C. Bernstein & the late Richard J. Littley Sr. Born in Williamsport, Pa. on Wednesday, June 19, 1935, she was a daughter of the late Chester Earl & Dorothy Mae (Winner) Chamberlain. Prior to her retirement as a housewife, she was employed at The Sylvania Corporation, Montoursville, Pa. and later at The Grit Publishing Co., Williamsport, Pa.. Lois was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Lehighton and enjoyed crafts and handmade porcelain work. Surviving are a son, Richard J. Littley Jr. & his wife Cristine of Winter Haven, Florida, 3 daughters, Rebecca Bernstein of Glendale, California, Heidi Bernstein of Nesquehoning, Pa., Wilhelmina, wife of Reverend Mark Akers, of Lehighton, 2 sisters, Elsie, wife of Lawrence Reynolds of Palmyra, Pa., Merle Ciesielski, of New Castle, Delaware, 9 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great-grandchildren, nieces & nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Chester Chamberlain. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service in her honor will be held on Friday, January 31 at 11 a.m. at The Andrew P. Ovsak Funeral Home, 190 S. 4th St., Lehighton, Pa. 18235. Call 10-11 a.m. Friday. Private Interment.
