Mrs. Lisa J. (Schaeffer) Weiss

Mrs. Lisa J. Weiss, 66, of Lehighton passed into eternal rest on Thurs. Nov. 13th at The Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest. She was the wife of James H. Weiss of Lehighton. They were married for 46 years on Aug. 25th of this year. Born in Lehighton, she was the daughter of the late Marlene J. (Muffley) Parry. Lisa was a graduate of the Lehighton Area High School, Class of 1977. Prior to her retirement, she was employed as a secretary for the Lehighton Area School District with 42 years of service. She was a member of Zion UCC, Lehighton. She enjoyed spending time with her feline friends and cherished her time with her family. Surviving in addition to her husband is a son, Justin J. Weiss (Companion Audrey Parenti), of Lehighton, a brother, Glenn Schaeffer (Joanne), of Lehighton,& a close friend Karter Frantz. She was predeceased by a brother, Todd Wreidt. A Graveside Funeral Service in her honor will be held on Wed. Nov. 19th at 10 a.m. in Franklin Heights Memorial Park, E. Weissport, Pa. with the Reverend Anthony P. Pagotto officiating.
