Mrs.Joyce E. (Hardy) Neff

Mrs. Joyce E. Neff, 90, of Lower Towamensing Township, passed into eternal rest on Friday, Oct. 15th at her residence. She was the wife of the late Burnell Neff & the late Robert McFarland. Born in Long Run, she was a daughter of the late Eugene & Mabel (Walck) Hardy. Prior to her retirement she was employed as a presser for Scotty’s fashions. She attended church services at Dinkey Memorial Evangelical Lutheran Church, Ashfield. Surviving are 4 daughters, Susan Leiby of Ashfield ,Diane Smith & her companion Robert Behler, Gail, wife of Dennis Hawk, Karen, wife of Rodney Hughes of Palmerton, a sister, Shirley Muth of Allentown, 7 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, nieces & nephews. She was predeceased by a son, Robert “Sonny” McFarland, 5 sisters, Pauline Rausch, Florence Johnson, Alice Green, Virginia Hardy, Rose Berger, & 4 brothers, Arlington, Albert, Leroy, Eugene Hardy.
