Mrs. Joan L. (Zellner) Armbruster

Mrs. Joan L. Armbruster, 81, of Packerton, Pa. passed into eternal rest on Wed. Oct. 28th at her residence. She was the wife of Eugene F. “Peck” Armbruster. They were married for 60 years on June 10th of this year. Born in Lehighton on Friday, June 9th, 1939, she was a daughter of the late Walter & Beatrice (Moulthrop) Zellner. Joan worked as a garment & millworker for Bishop Mills. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Packerton, & The Packerton Old Timers (POT) Club. She was an avid BINGO player. Surviving is a daughter, Debra J. wife of Jerry “Buddy” Strohl of Packerton, a son, Bruce Armbruster of Florida, a sister, Nancy Moyer of New Ringgold, 4 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren with one on the way, nieces & nephews. She was predeceased by sisters, Beverly Wentz, Katherine Hernandez, Doris Walck, Marie Bush, & an infant brother. Funeral Services and Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
