Jean Marie (Behler) Reabold

Jean Reabold, 75, of Lehighton, Pennsylvania passed away peacefully on Jan. 26, 2024 in her home. Jean was born on October 7, 1948 to John and Stella (Snyder) Behler of Bowmanstown, PA. She is survived by her husband Earl Reabold, Sr. of Lehighton, PA and her 8 children, Earl (Elizabeth) Reabold, Jr of Mertztown, PA, Cora (Barry) Steigerwalt of Pittsburg, PA, Dennis (Angela) Reabold of Tamaqua, PA, Todd (Tiffany) Reabold of Westminster,  MD, Charleen (Shane) Ignato of Peoria, AZ, Lori (Michael) Serbel of Greencastle, PA, Elizabeth Ortiz of Tucson, AZ, and Ryan (Katie) Reabold of Hamburg, PA. Jean leaves behind 18 loving grandchildren, 23 adoring great grandchildren, 3 sisters, Maryann Muffley, Violet Solt, & Joan Hochberg. She was predeceased by 2 sisters, Marion Beidleman, & Sandy Serfass.

Jean was a member of Dinkey Memorial Church, Ashfield, PA and Bowmanstown-Parryville Lions Club. She also owned and operated Island Breeze Tanning Salon, Lehighton, PA.

A viewing will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 31. Also, a viewing at 10 a.m. Thursday, Feb 1 followed by a funeral service at 11 a.m. at Ovsak Funeral Home, 190 S 4th St, Lehighton, with Rev. Anthony Pagotto officiating. Burial in Lehighton Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her name may be made to Bowmanstown-Parryville Lions Club, Ruth Augustine, Secretary, 629 East Railroad Street, Nesquehoning, PA 18240.
