Mrs. Frances J. (Snyder) Deganich

Mrs.Frances J. Deganich, 95, of Lehighton, passed into eternal rest on Monday, May 18th at The Mahoning Valley Nursing & Rehab. Ctr. She was the wife of the late Emil Deganich & the late Roger Strohl. Born in Palmerton on Friday, February 20, 1925, she was a daughter of the late Clayton & Minnie (Cunfer) Snyder. Prior to her retirement, she was employed at Bishop Mills as a presser in the garment industry.Frances was a member of Zion UCC, Lehighton, The Lehighton Golden Agers and enjoyed attending events at the Lehighton Area Senior Center. Surviving are 3 daughters, Carolyn Graver of Lehighton, Kay Shiffert of Florida, Ruthann , wife of Edward Rittle of Fullerton, 2 sons, Roger Strohl Jr. & his wife Ann of Arizona, Richard Strohl, & his wife Patricia of Lehighton, 2 brothers, Rodney Snyder & his wife Shirley of Lehighton, Colin Snyder & his wife Susan of N. Carolina,13 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren, nieces & nephews. She was predeceased by a daughter, Donna Strmenski, a son Thomas Strohl, 3 sisters, Betty Sterling, June Bubick, Jeanette Hartman, 2 brothers, Winfield & Thomas Snyder, 2 grandsons, Ronald Graver Jr. & Stephen Strmenski. A Memorial Service in her honor will be annoiunced in the future. Memorial Contributions in her honor may be made to The Lehighton Memorial Library, North St. Lehighton, Pa. 18235.
