Mrs. DeVoe J. (Campbell) Kromer

Mrs. DeVoe J. Kromer, 94, of Lehighton passed away Sunday, February 28th in Weatherwood, Weatherly, Pa. She was the wife of the late Thomas J. “Bud” Kromer who passed away May 25th, 2014. Born in Lehighton on Sunday, March 14, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Paul & Uldene (Hill) Campbell. She owned and operated DeVoe’s Beauty Shop and later worked for multiple garment factories within the Lehighton area for many years prior to her retirement. Surviving is a son, Dene G. Smith & his wife JoAnn, a granddaughter, Whitney Smith, a grandson, Dene T. Smith & his wife Tracy, a Great-grandson Zane Smith, of Lehighton, nieces & nephews. She was predeceased by sisters, Evenell “Nell” (Campbell) Getz, Ruby (Campbell) Smith & a brother, Paul H. Campbell. Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
