Mrs. Carol A. Coleman, 78, of Franklin Township, Pa. passed into eternal rest on Sat. Dec. 2nd at her residence. She was the wife of the late Oliver Kromer who passed away in 1965 and also was the wife of the late LeRoy W. Coleman Sr. who passed away in 2020. Born in Palmerton, Pa. on Thursday, Feb. 15, 1945, she was a daughter of the late Blaine E. & Anna (Cebrosky) Steigerwalt. Prior to her retirement, she was employed as a registered nurse for the St. Luke's Hospital-Coaldale. Carol was a member of St. Matthew's Evangelical Lutheran Church, East Weissport, and was a former member of The Big Creek Grange. A family oriented person, she enjoyed spending time with her loving family, grandchildren, & great-grandchildren. Surviving are 2 daughters, Elizabeth Kromer of Kunkletown, Vickie Malloy (James Malloy Jr.) of Lehighton, 3 sons, LeRoy W. Coleman Jr. (Amy) of Franklin Township, Jason Coleman of Schwenksville, Pa., Oliver Kromer (husband Lamar Smith) of Lehighton, 2 sisters, Dorothy Kuntz of Bethlehem, Jean Golomb (Scott) of Northampton, a brother, Blaine Steigerwalt (Debra) of Enola Pa., 9 Grandchildren, 4 Great-grandchildren, Nieces & Nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Dean D. Steigerwalt, in 2016. FUNERAL SERVICES WILL START PROMPTLY AT 11 a.m. on Saturday December 9 at The Ovsak FH, 190 S. 4th St. Lehighton with The Reverend Michael A. Frost officiating. CALL 9:30-11 a.m. on Sat. Interment in St. Matthew's Cemetery, E. Weissport. Memorial Contributions in her honor may be made to St. Matthew's Church, 222 Church St., Lehighton, Pa. 18235.
