Mrs. Carmella P. Ott, 86, of Lehighton, Pennsylvania, passed into eternal rest on Thursday, December 12th at St. Luke’s Hospital, Lehighton, Pennsylvania. She was the wife of the late H. Dale Ott who passed away, April 11, 1992. Born in Bangor, Pennsylvania on Monday, April 17, 1933, she was a daughter of the late Lawrence & Josephine (Confalone) Falcone. Prior to her retirement, she was the co-owner of The Lehighton Beverage Distributorship and Ott’s Concessions. Mrs. Ott was a member of Ss Peter & Paul Roman Catholic Church, Lehighton, Pennsylvania and the church’s Altar & Rosary Society where he was the recipient of the Mother Of The Year Award. In 1997, she participated in a drug study for breast cancer prevention with the use of Tamoxifen treatment. Surviving is a daughter, Debra Ott of Lansford, Pennsylvania, 3 sons, Dale Ott & his wife Mary, of Lehighton, John Ott of Franklin Township, Larry Ott, of Lehighton, a sister, Roselle Zorzetto of Bangor, Pennsylvania, 5 Grandchildren, Julie, Meghan, Morgan, Molly, Joseph, 4 Great-grandchildren, Avery, Christian, Addison, Paisley, nieces & nephews. Vigil Service 6 p.m. Monday, December 16th at The Ovsak FH, 190 S. 4th St., Lehighton. Prayers will be held on Tuesday, December 17th at 9:30 a.m. at The Andrew P. Ovsak followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at Ss Peter & Paul RC Church, 260 N. 3rd St., Lehighton with The Reverend Christopher M. Zelonis & Deacon Joseph C. Wilhelm Jr. officiating. Rosary Recitation Tuesday 830 a.m.Call Monday from 6:15-8 p.m. and Tuesday from 8:30- 9:30 a.m. at the funeral home. The interment will take place following the Mass in Ss Peter & Paul Catholic Cemetery, N. 4th St., Lehighton.
