Mr. William W. Beisel, 85, of Mahoning Valley, Pa. passed into eternal rest on Sunday, Aug. 17th at St. Luke's Hospital Bethlehem. He was the husband of the late Diana L. (Kessler) Beisel who passed away Aug. 9th of last year. Born in Guildhall, Vermont, he was a son of the late Ralph & Sarah (Smith) Beisel. He was a 1958 graduate of the Lehighton High School and also held a degree from Penn State University. Prior to his retirement, he was employed as an electrical engineer for Jersey Central Power & Light Co. from 1974-1996. He was also the owner of Beisel's Xmas Tree Hill in Mahoning Township. Bill was an active member of the First Presbyterian Church Of Lehighton and enjoyed his membership with the Bucks County Road Riders motorcycle group.He enjoyed being outside on his John Deere tractor at the family business and was a former whitetail deer hunter. Surviving is a daughter Anna-Lisa Beisel of Lehighton, a son Kirk Beisel (Companion Letitia Hornbaker) of Nazareth, 4 grandchildren, Caitlin Reed (Shawn), Chelsea Gursky (Aaron), Chantel Binder (Cody) Chase Oliver, 6 greatgrandchildren, nieces & nephews. He was prdeceased by a brother, Dana Beisel in 2013. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, Aug. 22 at 11 a.m. at The Ovsak FH, 190 S. 4th St. Lehighton with the Rev. Carolyn Evans officiating. Call 6-8 p.m. Thursday, and 10-11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. Interment in the Lehighton Cemetery.
