Mr. Steven Michael Everett, 71, of Franklin Township, Pa. passed into eternal rest on Sunday, May 11th at his residence. He was the husband of Beverly J. (Walck) Everett. They were married for 47 years last Sept. 24th, 2024. Born in Lehighton, Pa. on Tuesday, Jan. 19, 1954, he was a son of the late James H. & Mary Ann Louise (Stuckley) Everett. Prior to his retirement, he was employed as a Union Laborer for the Nestle Corporation and previously worked in the same capacity for Eckman Lumber & The New Jersey Zinc Co. He was a very active member of SS Peter & Paul Roman Catholic Church Lehighton where he assisted with the church collections every Sunday. He was a member of the Franklin Township Lions Club and was a former Franklin Township Fire Company Fire Police Volunteer. He enjoyed his many coffee trips to the Bowmanstown Diner. Surviving in addition to his wife is a daughter, Nicole Everett & her partner Andrew Miller of Nazareth, a son, Christopher Everett (Amber) of Albrightsville, 3 brothers, James Everett Jr. (Jan) of Palmerton, Robert Everett (Carol) of Lehighton, Rick Everett (Joanna) Nesquehoning, 3 grandchildren, Alekzander, Adelynn, Thalen, Nieces & nephews, He was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Cindy Freeby, Mary Ann Everett, & 2 brothers, Tracy & Rocky Everett. A Mass of Christian Burial in his honor will be held on Friday, May 16th at 11 a.m. at SS Peter & Paul RC Church, 260 N. 3rd St., Lehighton with the Rev. Christopher M. Zelonis & Deacon Joseph C. Wilhelm Jr. officiating. Call 10-11 a.m. in the Church. Interment in parish cemetery.
