Mr. Russell C. Bobst

Mr. Russell C. Bobst, 87, of Union Hill, Pa. passed into eternal rest on Friday, Feb. 28th at St. Luke's Hospital-Carbon. He was the husband of the late Ruthann Pavlik Bobst who passed away Jan. 13, 2021. Born on May 20, 1937, he was the son of the late Floyd J. & Lorraine(Wolfe) Thomas. He served our country with the US Army during the Korean War. Prior to his retirement, he was employed as a garment cutter for Indigo Jeans. He was a member of Bethany EC Church Lehighton and held Life memberships with the Beaver Run Rod & Gun Club & The Lehighton Orioles Nest #183. He was an avid crossword & jigsaw enthusiast and enjoyed watching the Philadelphia Phillies, Eagles & 76er's sports teams. Surviving is a a son Floyd E. Bobst of Franklin Township & a granddaughter, Tara M. Bobst of Lehighton. He was preceded in death  by a son David Bobst in 2021.Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
