Mr. Ronald E. Connor

Mr. Ronald E. Connor, 77, of Lehighton, Pa. passed into eternal rest on Sat. Oct. 26th at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Lehighton. He was the husband of the late Martha L. (Knappenberger) Connor who passed away Jan. 23, 2022. Born in Lehighton, Pa. on Feb. 6, 1947, he was a son of the late Willard & Esther (Miller) Connor. He earned his Bachelors degree from Kutztown University and later earned his Masters degree from East Stroudsburg University. Prior to his retirement, he was employed by the Carbon Lehigh Intermediate Unit as a special education/speech pathologist instructor. He attended services at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Lehighton and was a Life member of the Lehigh Fire Co. #1 where he enjoyed playing cards & shooting pool with the local retirees. A devout member of the Mahoning Township Lions Club, he served as president and other various offices and was the recipient of the Melvin Jones Fellow award. Surviving is a daughter, Vikki Johnson, a grandson, Brandon Johnson of Lehighton,&  a brother, Willard Connor of Pittsburgh. Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
