Mr. Robert S. Kowatch

Mr. Robert S. Kowatch, 85, of Mahoning Valley, Pa. passed into eternal rest on Thursday, Nov. 11th at Weatherwood Nursing & Rehab. Ctr., Weatherly, Pa. He was the husband of Evelyn C. (Kenlin) Kowatch. They were married for 62 years on July 28th of this year. Born in Shenandoah, Pa. on Tues. June 2nd, 1936, he was the son of the late Stephen & Alice ( Schlitski) Kowatch. He  served our country with the US Air Force during the Korean War and was a graduate of Kings Park School of Nursing, Long Island, New York. Prior to his retirement, he was employed as a registered nurse for the Office Of Ageing, & also for The American Red Cross. An antique & classic car enthusiast, he held a membership with the AACA-Antique Automobile Club of America. Surviving in addition to his wife is a daughter, Melissa, wife of William Ault of Whitehall Township, and a son, Robert Kowatch of Mahoning Valley.
