Mr. Randy R. Ahner

Mr. Randy R. Ahner, 72, of Palmerton, Pa. passed into eternal rest on Friday, April 24th at the Lehigh Valley Hospital Carbon Campus. He was the husband of Sallyann (Wolfe) Ahner. They were married for 52 years last June 2nd, 2025. Born in Lehighton, Pa. on Oct. 19, 1953, he was a son of the late Charles W. & Arlene M. (Ahner) Ahner. Randy was a 1971 Lehighton Area High School graduate. Prior to his retirement, he was employed as a heavy equipment operator at the NJ Zinc-Horsehead Industries, Palmerton, Pa. with 39 years of service. In his early employment years he worked for Bear Creek Dairy and Mel Everett furniture store. He was of the Lutheran Faith. In his spare time Randy could be found with his loving wife & family, woodworking, enjoying cars, playing Pinochle, and Bowling. Surviving in addition to his wife are 2 daughters, Emily Ahner of Coaldale, Amanda, wife of Eric Kercsmar of Palmerton, a son Daniel Ahner of Lehighton, 10 grandchildren, nieces & nephews, He was predeceased by a brother, Paul L.
