Mr. Paul D. Breiner, 74, of East Penn Township, passed into eternal rest on Monday, July 26th at St. Luke’s Hospital-Lehighton. He was the husband of Sandra A. (Moser) Breiner. They were married for 45 years last September 5th, 2020. Born in Coaldale, Pa. on Saturday, May 20th 1947, he was a son of the late James & Beverly (Whiteman) Breiner. Paul served our country with the US Air Force during the Viet Nam war attaining the rank of Sergeant with the 4708th Air Base Group. He later earned his Associates Degree from Lehigh County Community College and furthered his education at Kutztown University where he earned his Bachelor’s degree. He retired from The Lehighton Area High School after many years of teaching Government & Geography. He was of the Lutheran Faith. Paul was formerly active with The East Penn Township Volunteer Fire Company & The Lehighton Fire Department. A model train enthusiast, he was a member of the Train Club of America. He formerly enjoyed golfing & fishing but his greatest joy was spending time with his wife, kids, grandchildren and especially teaching his students. Surviving in addition to his wife are 2 sons, Todd Rousenberger & his wife Wanda of Walnutport, Craig Rousenberger & his wife Alisa of Emmaus, a daughter, Karen Breiner of East Penn Township, 3 grandchildren, Justin, Alexa, & Matthew. He was predeceased by a brother, Thomas Breiner. Funeral Services & Interment will be private.
