Mr. Kyle D. Scherer

Mr. Kyle D. Scherer, 54, of Lehighton, passed away Tuesday, May 5th at St. Luke's Hospital-Lehighton. Born in Lehighton Pa. on Wednesday, January 19, 1966, he was a son of the late George W. & Betty J. (Kleintop) Scherer. Kyle was currently employed in the food preparation business, working as an assistant chef/cook at The Lehighton American Legion Post 314. He was of the Lutheran faith. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing the Lehigh River & its tributaries and hiking the woodlands of Pennsylvania. Surviving is a sister, Jane L. wife of Eugene Ryder of Coaldale, a brother, Michael R. Scherer of Lehighton, nieces & nephews.He was predeceased by a sister, Kathie Kleintop on October 26, 2014. Funeral Services and Interment will be private at the convenience of the family. Memorial Contributions in his honor may be made to The Lehigh River Stocking Association, P.O.
