Mr. Kenneth Lee Shiffer, 76, of Kunkletown, Pa. passed into eternal rest on Wed. Aug. 6th at the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest. He was the husband of Kathleen A. (Wehr) Shiffer. They were married for 47 years on May 26th of this year. Born in Bethlehem, Pa. on Oct. 17, 1948, he was a son of the late Harry & Ruth (Unangst) Shiffer. Ken served our country with the US Army during the Viet Nam War attaining the rank of SP4 with the B Battery 5th Missile Battalion while stationed in Germany. Prior to his retirement, he was employed at Ingersoll Rand as a Millwright. He was an avid fisherman and hunter and previously held a membership at The Palmerton Rod & Gun Club. Surviving in addition to his wife is a brother, Harry Shiffer (Brenda) of Hamburg, nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by siblings Carol & Daniel.
