Mr. Joseph R. "Junior" Tanczos

Mr. Joseph R. “Junior” Tanczos, 80, of Nis Hollow, passed into eternal rest on Tuesday, October, 19th at his residence. He was the husband of the late Sharon H. (Kistler) Tanczos who passed away on Aug. 14th, 2002. Born in Reading, Pa. on Monday, Nov. 18th, 1940, he was a son of the late Joseph F. & Rose S. (Heatter) Tanczos. Prior to his retirement, he was employed by the Bethlehem Steel Corporation as a beam yard worker. He most recently drove school bus for the Lehighton Area school district for many years. In his spare time he could be found watching the Philadelphia Eagles & Phillies sporting events, spending time with his loving family, grandchildren & golden retrievers. Surviving are 2 daughters, Debbie J. , wife of Cory Yanders of Nis Hollow, Donna J., wife of Dr. John Staivecki of Orefield, a sister, Rosemarie Ronckovitz of Allentown, a brother, Thomas Tanczos preceded him in death, another brother Stephen Tanczos lives in Walnutport, 2 grandchildren, Koby & Kelsey, & his grand-pup, Harley.  Funeral Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
