Mr. James J. Malloy died on 12-27-22. Jim as he was known to everyone was a kind man who was well liked by all those who knew him. He was born to Richard & Lillian Malloy in Philadelphia in 1945. His brothers Richard, Anthony, & sister Rose Marie predeceased him. Jim started his young career as an auto mechanic and owned Malloy’s Auto repair. He also was a partner in Malloy’s Roofing with his brother for several years until he and his wife owned and operated Global Health Management Services until his retirement in 2017. Jim enjoyed the outdoors and hunting & target shooting and traveling. He also enjoyed collecting knives and making his own knife sheaths. He loved animals. More than anything he enjoyed spending time with his wife, children, & grandchildren. He is survived by wife Gerry and children, Jim Malloy Jr. and Kelly Alexander and grandchildren Jacqueline Malloy, Dalton Alexander, Aidan Malloy and Raina Alexander. Also many nieces, nephews and friends who adored him. He was a long time member of SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Lehighton. He will be sadly missed by all those who were a part of his life. A Memorial Mass in his honor will be held on Friday, December 30th at 11 a.m. at SS Peter & Paul RC Church, 260 North 3rd St., Lehighton with the Reverend Christopher M. Zelonis & Deacon Joseph C. Wilhelm Jr. officiating. The interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
