Mr. James J. Gieniec

Mr. James J. Gieniec, 64, of Mahoning Township, Pa. passed away Thursday, November 7th at his residence. He was the husband of Debra A. (Malik) Gieniec. They were married for 33 years On May 17th 2019.Born in Coaldale, Pa. he was the son of G. James Gieniec of Lehighton and the late Janice A. (Yuskanish) Gieniec who passed away on Nov. 8, 2018.  A 1973 Lehighton Area High School graduate, he played on the high school golf team. He later earned his associates degree in Business/Restaurant Management at Lehigh Carbon Community College. Jim was a self employed fleet services manager in truck sales/services. He was a member of SS Peter & Paul Roman Catholic Church, Lehighton, The Lehighton American Legion Post 314, The Lehighton Orioles Nest #183, The Lehigh Fire Company #1, & The Beaver Run Rod & Gun Club. Surviving in addition to his wife and father is a daughter, Jaime, wife of Nathan Crammer of Reading, Pa., a new born grandson, Noah James Crammer, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins. A Celebration Of Life Memorial Mass in his honor will be held on Wednesday, November 13th at 10 a.m. at SS Peter & Paul Roman Catholic Church, 260 North 3rd St., Lehighton with the Reverend Christopher M. Zelonis M. Div. officiating. Call 9-10 a.m. in the church. Interment in SS Peter & Paul Catholic Cemetery, N. 4th St., Lehighton.
