Mr. Gerald F. (Jerry) Glassic, 84, formerly of Franklin Township, Pa. passed away Thursday, Feb. 12th at Forest Hills Nursing Rehab & Healthcare Ctr. Weatherly, Pa. He was the husband of the late Darlene E. Grudzinski who passed away Jan. 25, 2021. Born In Coaldale, Pa. on May 2, 1941, he was a son of the late Walter & Anna (Schlegel) Glassic. Prior to his retirement, he was employed at Mack Trucks Allentown Pa. as a Machinist/Assembler. He served our country with the US Air Force during the Viet Nam war attaining the rank of Airman First Class (E-4). He was a member of SS Peter & Paul RC Church, Lehighton and in his spare time enjoyed his family and doing a little fishing. Surviving is a daughter, Kimberly Andrew of Lehighton, two sons, Jerry Glassic Jr. of Inez, Texas, John Glassic of Franklin Township, two brothers, Walter Glassic (Betty) of Ashfield, Edward Glassic of Jim Thorpe, 2 sisters, Cecilia Kemmerer of Weatherly, Barbara Schrantz (Robert) of New Cumberland, 7 grandchildren, nieces & nephews. He was predeceased by a daughter, Christine Glassic & a brother, James. Funeral Services & Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
