Mr. Gary D. Shupp

Mr. Gary D. Shupp, 63, of Lehighton, formerly of Palmerton, passed into eternal rest on Thursday, April 9th at his residence. He was the husband of Christine M. (Armbruster) Shupp. They were married for 33 years last August 1st, 2025. Born in Allentown, Pa. on Nov. 23rd, 1962, he was a son of Mrs. Marlene (Craig) Shupp of Palmerton & the late Harley Shupp Jr. Prior to his retirement, he worked in the construction field as a general foreman. He was a member of St. John's Towamensing Lutheran Church of Palmerton, The Lehighton Oriole's Nest #183, The Beaver Run Rod & Gun Club, & The Lehigh Fire Company #1. He enjoyed spending time with his family, watching Nascar, Hunting & Golfing. Surviving in addition to his wife is a daughter, Amber M. Shupp, of Lehighton, 2 sons, Ryan D. Shupp of Palmerton, Ian P. Shupp of Lehighton,a brother, Harley Shupp III (Annie) of Palmerton, a sister, Dawn Pudelka (Thomas) of Palmerton, 4 grandchildren, Cody, Tyler, Hunter, Beau, 1 Great-grandson, Nieces & Nephews. He was predeceased by 2 brothers, Todd & Scott Shupp. A Celebration Of Life Memorial Service in his honor will be held on Wed. April 15th at 11 a.m. at The Ovsak FH, 190 S. 4th St. with LLM Emma Weaver officiating. Call 9:30-11 a.m. Wednesday. The interment will be private at the convenience of the family in the Packerton Cemetery.
