Mr. Francis J. Link

Mr. Francis J. Link, 84, of Franklin Township, passed into eternal rest on Thursday, September 21st at The Inpatient Hospice Unit of Lehigh Valley Hospital, Allentown, Pa. He was the husband of Sherry L. (Strohl) Link who passed away Feb. 12th, 2022. Born in Village Green, Delaware County on Wed. Nov. 16th, 1938, he was the son of the late Francis & Frances (Walker) Link. Prior to his retirement, he was employed as an elevator construction worker for Otis & Dover elevator companies. He was of the Catholic Faith. An avid sportsman/outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting, and fishing. In his spare time he could be found riding his Harley Davidson and restoring antique/classic cars & trucks. A family oriented guy, he always attended his grandchildren's sporting events. Surviving is a son John L. Binder & his wife Jan M. of Long Run, a sister, Helen Litwa of Chester County, 2 grandsons, Joe Binder (Jamie), Kyle Binder (Ashley), 3 Great-grandchildren, Joe Jr. Raelynn & Brantley. He was predeceased by a son, Francis Link, & a sister Constance English. A Graveside Celebration Of Life Memorial Service in his honor will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 27th at 2 p.m. in The Dinkey Memorial Cemetery, 1742 Dinkey Rd. Ashfield, Pa. with SALM Emma Weaver officiating. Memorial Contributions in his honor may be made to The American Heart Assoc. 4520 Crums Mill Rd. Harrisburg, Pa. 17112.
