Mr. Eugene J. Cardoni Jr.

Mr. Eugene J. Cardoni Jr., 66, of Bowmanstown, Pa. passed into eternal rest on Tuesday, Dec. 12, 2023 at his residence. He was the husband of Christina A. (Snyder) Cardoni. They were married for 38 years last Dec. 23, 2022. Born in Wilkes Barre, Pa. on Monday, May 6, 1957, he was a son of the late Eugene J. & Shirley M. (Casterline) Cardoni Sr. Prior to his retirement, he was employed as a truckdriver for NEMF, Lehighton, Silfies Trucking, Moorestown, and several other transport firms in the local area. He was a Life member of Lehigh Fire Co. #1, and a social member of The Lehighton Orioles Nest #183. He enjoyed a good round of Golf, Horseshoes, Deepsea Fishing, and watching the Philadelphia Eagles Football games. Surviving in addition to his wife is a daughter, Alicia Cardoni, 2 sons Matthew & Ryan Cardoni, of Palmerton, 2 brothers, Keith Cardoni (Jody) of Blakeslee, Kevin Cardoni (Theresa) of Wapwallopen, Pa. nieces & nephews. A Memorial Celebration of Life Service in his honor will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 20th at 5 p.m. at The Ovsak FH, 190 S. 4th St., Lehighton with the Rev. Jody Neifert officiating. Call 3-5 p.m. on the 20th. The interment will be private. Memorial Contributions in his honor may be made to The American Cancer Society, 16 North 4th St. Minersville, Pa. 17954.
