Obituary

Mr. David B. Bryfogle Sr. 70, of Lehighton passed away Jan. 8th at St. Luke’s Hospital-Carbon. He was the husband of Wilburta M. (Steigerwalt) Bryfogle. They were married for 49 years last Set. 22nd. He served our country with the US Navy during the Viet Nam War. Prior to retirement, he was employed as a truckdriver for Horwith Inc. David was a member of The Lehighton Legion Post 314 & its Viet Nam Last Man’s Club. He was a Past Commander and Vice Commander of the Lehighton Area United Veterans Organization and held a Life membership at Lehigh Fire Co. #1. In his spare time he enjoyed running his John Deere tractor and cutting his lawn. Surviving in addition to his wife is a daughter, Heather Smith (David) of Palmerton, a sister, Barbara Hillenbrand (Jim) , a brother, Lonny Bryfogle ( Cindy) of Jim Thorpe, a brother, Gary Bryfogle of Florida, 2 granddaughters, Abigail, Victoria, 4 Great-granddaughters, Sierra, Ellie, Summer, Elaina, nieces & nephews.He was preceded i death by a son David B. Jr. Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Monetary funeral contributions in his name may be sent to 2515 Church Hill Rd., Lehighton, Pa. 18235.
