Mr. Dale F. Serfass, 93, formerly of Palmerton, Bethlehem, Florida, & Northside Heights, Lehighton, passed into eternal rest on Monday, May 10th, 2021 at the Mahoning Valley Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. He was the husband of the late Miriam D. (Wolfe) Serfass who passed away on Oct. 1st, 2019. Born in Palmerton, Pa. on Sunday, May 6th, 1928, he was a son of the late Arlington & Iva (Ahner) Serfass. He served our country with the US Army during the Korean Conflict attaining the rank of Corporal. Prior to his retirement, he was employed as a bricklayer with 40 years of service. His last employment was with Norman Engler Construction. He was of the Protestant faith. Dale was a member of the Beethoven Waldheim Club, Hellertown, Pa. and spent time with his loving family, traveling & camping. Surviving is a daughter, Eileen L. Verkusky of Allentown, 2 sons, Jeffrey A. Serfass & his wife Karen of Bethlehem, Scott D. Serfass of East Penn Township, grandchildren, Chad, Kelly, Jody, Gregory, Christopher, great-grandchildren, Zachary, Emily, Dominick, Jayden, Madison, Ryan, Brandon, Michael, Jackson, great-great-grandchildren, Daniel, & Julianna. He was predeceased by a sister, Marlene Steele, a brother, Bruce Serfass, & a grandson, Phillip. Funeral Services & Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
