Mr. Burdell A. Reinhart, 90, of Lehighton, passed into eternal rest on Monday, Jan. 4th at The Summit, Lehighton, Pa. He was the husband of the late Eva Mae (Rauch) and the former companion of Joyce Hoffner & Ursula Dietrich. Born in Lehighton, Pa. on Friday, March 28, 1930, he was a son of the late Marvin & Edna (Miller) Reinhart. He served our country in the US Army from 1947-1949 with the Military Police Battalion. Prior to his retirement, he was employed by Consolidated Freightways as a commodities transporter. He was of the Christian faith. Burdell held memberships with The Lehighton American Legion Post 314, The Lehighton Am Vets, The Lehighton Orioles Nest #183, The Bowmanstown Rod & Gun Club, The Beaver Run Rod & Gun Club, The Franklin Township Volunteer Fire Company, & The Lehigh Fire Company #1. In his spare time he enjoyed his family, Hunting ,Fishing, Woodworking, Bowling, Darts & participating in the Sr. Olympics. Surviving are a son, Martin Reinhart & his wife Michelle of Catasaqua, 2 daughters, Donna Long & her companion James Hewitt of Lehighton, Gail, wife of Bob Faulstick of Coudersport, 3 sisters, Susan Tessitore of Lehighton, Carol Isleib of Whitehall, Maryanne James of Jim Thorpe, a step-sister, Sandra Stohr of Lehighton, 6 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, nieces & nephews. He was predeceased by 2 brothers, Robert & Ronald Reinhart. Graveside Funeral Services will be held on Friday, January 8th at 2 p.m. in The Lehighton Cemetery with the Reverend Michael A.
